No gnus is good gnus.

I have been working on a couple of contracts. Writing software. One of them was Active Server Pages and the other is ColdFusion for an Association. It served to remind me how much easier and faster ColdFusion is. Not to be too boring, talking about software. But ASP is clunky and ColdFusion is like giving a front-end loader to a 6 year old.

So I have been making some money to go on this next trip. I am really excited to get back in the water for a while. I need to buy some surf trunks.

I’m not sure of the plan when I return from Bocas del Toro, Panama, but I think some snowboarding is in the cards for a bit.

Here is the deal.

Luke and I are going to Bocas del Toro, Panama on the 15th (give or take a day) of December and returning on the 13th of January.

We are going to fly on American Airlines, which has been called by some a “surfer friendly” airline.

Although they still charge 75 per board, each way; not 60 like I previously thought. With friends like those….

I may be selling my board in Panama instead of paying to schlepp it back.

We are flying into San Jose, Costa Rica, and then taking the bus down. Spending as little time in the Gringolandia of Costa Rica as possible.

Other than that, things in D.C. are quiet. Too quiet.

I am starting a consulting gig with an investment bank on Monday. That should help pay for the upcoming trip. It is purely a gig, not a job.

This is a picture of a Jack Russell Terrier steeplechase.

Your moment of zen.
