Tom Ridge said this morning:
“I can confirm that we have seen for the past several weeks a continuous stream of reporting that talks about the possibility of attacks on the United States,” he said, “but not unlike what we’ve seen for the past several years.”
So why is this news?
Another ploy, this one on the heels of W’s speech about Iraq, to remind us of the other war we are fighting and divert public opinion away from the war in Iraq. So if nothing happens this summer, then W goes from zero to hero.
Gotta keep that fear up.
