Oh, Mr. Sushi.

So the feast at Mr. Sushi went well.

It took a while, but I can finally move.

I wanted to take a nap, but I couldn’t becuase I was too full…

From sushi, how bizarre is that.

For the first time in my life I left a sushi restaraunt and didn’t feel like I need to get a meal.

Did some surfing this evening to boot.

Last night, went to see the San Diego ballet. (P.O.S.H.)

The ballet was good, very enjoyable, but the traffic… Dear god….

I am never driving into downtown San Diego on a weekend again, ever…

Spent more time in the car getting to and from than the actual length of the ballet.

I’ve been starving myself preparing for the onslaught of “All You Can Eat Sushi” at Mr. Sushi.

Hopefully my rigorous training will pay off.

I have been reading articles on Wikipedia.org. Which is pretty interesting. It is a ‘copy left’, user-contributed/edited online encyclopedia. The “in the news” section is usually timely and well worth checking out.

This type of project, along with the burgeoning open source movement, are going to change the internet. This could be the end of the Microsoftopoly.

Chud and Luke have both left and Susi is busy drawing, while I have been consulting at a local wireless network in San Diego. Writin’ code.

I’ve been surfing almost everyday.

I started taking the train into the gig, so I get to check the waves at Swarmis, Cardiff Reef and Del Mar in the morning, so far I haven’t seen anything that made me want to jump off the train and go run out surfing, and have been content going out after work.

Que mas?

Yesterday when we went past the river mouth in front of Cardiff Reef (aka “Suckouts”, a fantastic right barrel when it works) the heavy machinery was opening up the river mouth to let the dirty water spill out into the lineup.

This divestiture of the local sewage is pretty common occurrence.

However, I thought they looked a bit precarious, standing in a streambed, un-damming it.

Today one of the diggers was on its side. Apparently there was a bit of a mishap. But the filth is still streaming out into the lineup there.
