A couple of things….
I haven’t been writing on my blog lately, or have I been returning
emails. I have a few to catch up with, and I will, I swear.
I started a new job. I like it a lot more than the last gig and I
think it has a future.
I saw my first pikeys yesterday, or as Susi said, my first pikeys that
were misbehaving. (I’m not sure of the plural of pikey.) They were
gross. Fat, scabby and loud. Almost another species. They were
starting trouble in front of Sainsbury’s in Islington. The whole
borough was looking at them like they were in a cage at the zoo.
Disgusting.
Finally, there are all these ads in the tube for this anti-iPod
website. It got me thinking, it must be expensive to run a campaign
of non-conformity for no good reason. Sure enough, the company trying
to capitalize on the idea of “be different just like us” is SanDisk,
but the only way you would know that is to run a WhoIs query.
