Crutches are dangerous. People will assume that you will get out their way. Do not underestimate the indifference of others to your condition.
Ain’t that the truth! It is unbelievable. I have had people walk right into me. The worst though, is people who are walking and texting on their mobile phone. It isn’t that they don’t care, or expect you to move, they simply can’t see. But they still travel at a normal rate.
Tomorrow I go to an orthopaedist to find out if I need to get a cast from my hip to my ankle.
Being injured sucks.
And to top it off, Susi is going to Brazil Friday, and I won’t be able to go down there until the 7th of September!
