Sunday, we went back to the chocolate waters of the Guaíba River to attempt to ride the boat for the FIFTH time.
This time, Charon, our lovely captain, had changed the time the boat was scheduled to depart. Foiling our plans, once again.
I must go on this boat. This has become a mission.
Charon? The guy is seriously called Charon? I’d expect men in Brazil to be called things like Sergio or Marcelo (Well, unless their father has bizarre ideas about the letter ‘R’ ;p), not take names from Greek mythology (especially that name!). I’d love to know the hell his parents came up with that, unless its a nickname (even then, pretty damn creepy!).
I’ve nicknamed him that. The men here are mostly named things like Thiago or Vitor.
Damn. You had me all excited there.
