I have been thinking about shutting down this blog, or at least not putting anything personal on it, viz. family member names. I’m not sure if I would want to be on the Internet as a baby. There are too many psychos out there.

Bubba agrees with you wholly on this. At least if you put personal stuff on it, password protect the posts, if the paranoia is about psychos. If the paranoia is about the powers that be, then stop writing the blog all together, or don’t put any personal info there, e.g. create an alias, or even an alter-ego?
By the way, I’ve been using this search engine: http://www.startpage.com/eng/. So far it’s OK, although unfortunately I still turn to google occasionally for some stuff.

That would terrible! Its very hard to stalk you when you’re all the way in Brazil, you know: I’d have to switch to email or something.
@Bubba: Oh they are indeed on to you, both the non-government and government psychos. I’ll probably post stuff, but password protect it. Or just email it. I’m more concerned with random bored losers than the government. I don’t want some whack-job having pictures of my daughter.
